| Powercolor Radeon HD 6790 |
Powercolor has now officially launched its own HD 6790 card. The Powercolor HD 6790 goes out of the reference card and actually only needs a single PCI-Express 6-pin power connector.
Other than that the Powercolor's HD 6790 is pretty much the same as the reference HD 6790. It features a 40nm Barts GPU with 800 Stream processors clocked at 840MHz and comes with 1GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 4200MHz and paired up with a 256-bit memory interface. Powercolor is also using the same cooler seen on the HD 6800 series cards. It should cope very well with the HD 6790 heat dispassion requirements.
